BTU organized workshops within the framework of the ERASMUS+ CBHE project “Introduction of Innovative Technologies in Digitalization of Technological Processes and Production (DIGITECH)”.
On 16 – 17 February, 2026 Business and Technology University organized workshops with students and lecturers, as well as focus group discussions with industry representatives within the framework of the ERASMUS+ CBHE project “Introduction of Innovative Technologies in Digitalization of Technological Processes and Production (DIGITECH)”.
The meetings constitute part of a large-scale research activity conducted under the project, aimed at assessing students’ knowledge and technical skills through the participation of students, lecturers involved in the teaching process and employers. The findings will be reflected in BTU’s curricula to reduce the mismatch between educational outcomes and labour market needs through the integration of innovative technologies such as Big Data, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence into existing academic programmes. The initiative further aims to enhance graduates’ employability by equipping them with advanced skills in the digitalization of technological processes and production, thereby supporting the creation of green jobs in computer science and engineering.
Project consortium members are higher education institutions from Germany, Slovenia, Georgia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan.
