Giga Kikoria
Giga Kikoria holds a PhD in Economics and is an Affiliated Associate Professor at Business and Technology University. Additionally, he is an invited lecturer at Tbilisi State University and works in the Social Statistics Department at the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
Giga Kikoria is actively engaged in scientific research. He has authored approximately 20 international and local scientific publications and has participated in nearly 15 international and local conferences. Among them is the 2025 study What Factors Influence the Usage of ChatGPT Among Students, conducted in collaboration with researchers from the University of Granada (Spain) and Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology (Poland).
In the context of scientific and international activities at BTU, Giga Kikoria is the author of the BTU Student Competition on Infographics.
His significant international and academic collaborations include:
- Participation in Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility, academic exchange, and training programs at partner European universities, including the State University of Applied Sciences in Płock, Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology (Poland), and Afyon Kocatepe University (Turkey);
- Participation in Tallinn University’s Researcher Program (January–February 2024), where he spent a month working on the study Socio-Demographic Profile of Debt Holders of the Older Population in Eastern and Western European Regions;
- Engagement in international research collaborations in social statistics, including analytical studies on education and labor markets;
- Active participation in international conferences, training sessions, and professional development programs.
