BTU Students Will Have Their Own AI Agents
Students at the Business and Technology University are creating personal learning AI agents tailored to their individual needs and selected learning materials to support them in their daily studies.
When creating an AI agent, students select reliable sources and learning materials themselves, define the agent’s functions, verify its responses, and customize its performance according to their individual needs. As a result, students not only create a personalized learning resource but also develop practical skills for using AI thoughtfully, effectively, and responsibly.
The initiative is part of a broader process underway at BTU. At the same time, the university’s professors and lecturers are creating AI agents for their own courses, based on course syllabi, lecture content, and relevant literature. As a result, AI agents are being integrated into the learning process on both the lecturer and student sides.
BTU’s approach is that AI should not replace learning. Students should understand how artificial intelligence works, what its capabilities and limitations are, and how it can be used to better understand and deepen their knowledge and support independent learning.
Through this initiative, BTU is creating a learning environment where students are no longer simply users of AI. They create, verify, and manage their own AI assistants.
