Projects Implemented Within 1 Year
BTU is 1-year-old! From establishment till now:
- Partnership with more than 100 international organizations has started;
- Innovative, digital research method -24/7 – was implemented;
- British education center was opened;
- Job seekers were given access to more than 10 million job vacancies worldwide;
- “Digital Citizen” platform was created throughout the country;
- For the first time in Georgia, kid’s startup session event was organized;
- Seminars in raising financial awareness for citizens of regions of Georgia were conducted;
- Within the framework of joint program, partnership with leading British universities
- Multimedia educational project “Share More Knowledge” was created;
- Cyber security laboratory, where world’s leading brands, such as Symantec, Checkpoint and others are presented, was launched with the partnership with Softline Georgia;
- Georgian artificial intelligence – BIG MIND, the digital machine that can teach, consult and administrate processes – was created;
- Integration of virtual and expanded reality to education has started along with HP Inc.
- BTU has involved in global project together with NASA and HP Inc. and launched the high-tech laboratory;
- Along with IBM, with the support of the company MUK, working on a global project “Internet f Items” has started;
- Partnership with multinational corporation Splunk has been concluded for processing BIG DATA;
- Preparatory faculty for entrants has been developed;
- Google days and Hackaton Silicon Valley Tbilisi Challenge was held;
- For the first time in Georgia, chess match – Europe Champion Vs. Computer – was held;
- Kid’s technological school BTUKIDS was established;
- Viral digital campaign #Sharegeorgia was held;
- Apple study program was implemented;
- Work Space of Silicon Valley Tbilisi was launched;
- Partnership with NATO has started for cyber security.
