BTU Wins “Trainer of the Year” Award
Business and Technology University has been awarded the title of “Trainer of the Year in Europe” by EIT Digital, the European Union’s leading platform for digital innovation and education.
This recognition was granted as part of the EIT Digital Deep Tech Talent Initiative (DTTI), which aims to upskill over one million specialists in deep technologies across Europe.
Within the framework of the EIT Digital Deep Tech Talent Initiative, the “Trainer of the Year in Europe” award has been presented annually since 2023 to universities and organizations that demonstrate exceptional performance in technology education and training.
The initiative’s objective is to retrain one million people across Europe by 2025 in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Quantum Technologies, and Digital Innovation.
The competition involves leading European universities, research centers, and technology hubs, with winners selected based on criteria such as the quality and innovativeness of teaching.
The EIT Education and Skills Days event is held annually in Brussels, bringing together four key EIT areas — Skills Academies, Deep Tech Talent Initiative, Women and Girls in STEM, and Higher Education Initiative.
This two-day event hosts leading universities, companies, policymakers, and innovators from across Europe.
The program features panel discussions, student challenges, keynote sessions, and networking activities, where the best practices and experiences in digital education and innovation are shared.
EIT Digital is Europe’s largest digital ecosystem, dedicated to building a competitive, inclusive, fair, and sustainable digital Europe.
It unites leading universities, corporations, research institutes, and startups across the continent into one open innovation ecosystem — a space where students, researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs collaborate toward a common goal: advancing digital innovation, knowledge, and opportunity.
The mission of EIT Digital is to build a strong digital Europe that is inclusive, fair, and sustainable — a Europe that strengthens its future through innovation and education.
