GIS Day at the Business and Technology University

At Business and Technology University, an event was held to celebrate GIS Day, where invited school students had the opportunity to interactively explore the modern capabilities of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Using VR technology, participants examined aerial imagery, 3D objects, and the Street View mode integrated into Google Earth.

During the event, students also learned about current trends in technological development and discovered that the integration of Virtual Reality into GIS represents the future of modern geography.

It is noteworthy that GIS Day has been celebrated at the Business and Technology University for the fourth consecutive year, once again highlighting the university’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge technologies into education.
