Giorgi Basilaia is a Doctor of tool making, automation and control systems, Professor of BTU. He has participated in local and international scientific conferences. Scientific articles have been published with his authorship and co-authorship in both local and international academic publications. Has experience working in administrative positions. He is a participant of the project “Complex Monitoring and Diagnostics of Cultural Heritage Monuments” (Rustaveli National Science Foundation).

Giorgi speaks English, Russian, German and Italian languages.
