
About Summit
Tbilisi Entrepreneurship Summit – along with international partner Georgia will hold a large-scale event.
The first annual Entrepreneurship Summit will be held in Tbilisi on March 11, 2020, organized by the Business and Technology University (BTU). Promoting Georgia's entrepreneurial ecosystem, facilitating access to finance for entrepreneurs, attracting foreign partners and foundations, attracting investment, presenting large-scale entrepreneurship research and working on many other issues are on the agenda of the summit.
Tbilisi Entrepreneurship Summit is being organized in partnership with Henley Entrepreneurship Center and TBC Startupper. British Embassy in Georgia, Embassy of Israel in Georgia, European as well as US international organizations will be represented at the summit. Within the framework of the Summit, Georgia will be visited by a group of israeli investors from Silicon Wadi, british scientists and startups, as well as delegates from international investment funds and diplomatic corps.
Summit is supported by the British Council through the program Creative Sparks.
The summit will include panel discussions on - the investment environment of Georgia and access to finance for entrepreneurs; discussion of Georgia’s and global entrepreneurial ecosystem; research presentation; meetings with international partners; presentations of startups; pitching session with investors from Israeli’s Silicon Wadi, invited by Silicon Valley Tbilisi’s Global Startup Foundation, within which startups will be able to raise up to 1 million in funding. As part of the Summit, early stage and successful startups / entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their products and share them with the general public.

Meeting With Global Startup Foundation Investors
Within the framework of Tbilisi Entrepreneurship Summit, Israel’s Silicon Wadi investors will be investing in startups working in the tech trends industries, such as: artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, digital media, e-commerce, mobile applications, fintech, P2P platforms, virtual and augmented reality, game industry, internet of things (IoT), blockchain. Opportunities for financing outstanding and innovative startups in other industries are also discussed.

During the first
session of the Global Startup Foundation, in partnership with
Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), Georgian startup
company “Influence Georgia” was granted with 1,300,000
GEL.

Founder and director of Archi Group, Honorary Consul of Georgia in the State of Israel, board member at YTONG, founder of Benish Group Ltd. With over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, Meni Benish specializes in online marketing, online advertising, strategic planning and branding. In 2007, Mr. Benish founded the Benish Group, which actively supports startups in various industries. Each year, his team selects innovative startups and invests in them. Meni Benish is the founder of Global Startup Fundation.

With over 25 years of management
experience, Mr. Zerah is one of the creators, mentors and advisors
of Startup Screenz - http://scrnz.com/; Screenz creates a
digital platform for over 30 broadcasters and streaming companies.
Company customers include shows such as: Big Brother, Master Chef,
101 Ways to Leave a Game Show, The Million Pound Drop, Hell's
Kitchen, The Taste, and Rising Star. Screenz's strategic partners
include Google, ICM and Red Arrow. David is also a mentor for

Inbar
Active entrepreneur and an experienced
business executive with vast leadership experience from leading
infrastructure, energy, retail and industrial companies who has
managed large scale companies and led hundreds of employees.
Co-founder of Kaman Holdings, a group consisting of 30 industrial,
trade and infrastructure companies, mother company of Mendelson
Ltd, where Giora has managed 8 companies dealing with trade and
operation water, energy and infrastructure, both locally and
globally. Giora Inbar is the owner and the CEO of Ofaky Denish a
strategic consultancy specializes in energy and infrastructure
projects.

Marcovich
Founder and managing partner at
Eshel, Marcovich & Cohen. Founding member of a real estate
investment firm in the United States (Boyya – Invest LLC) and a
manager and partner in various real estate initiatives in the
United States (primarily in Texas and New York). Commander of an
infantry battalion in reserves. Trustee to Ms. Lynn Schneider in
Israel and the volunteer organization Yeladim Shelanu and Schneider
Children’s Medical Center. Member of the Board of
Trustees of Sami Shamoon College of Engineering (Be’er Sheva,
Ashdod).

Co-Founder, investor, Chairman, and
CEO of Solutum Technologies. Experience of working with: Cambium,
controlled by Matrix (TASE: MTRX), Tapingo, acquired by
Grubhub (NYSE- GRBH), Teridion, Veloquant, Juno. Former Board
Member of RR Media (Nasdaq: RRM); Chairman of Ananey
Communications. Founder, CEO and chairman of the board of directors
of BVR Technologies. Former independent consultant to Israel
Aircraft Industries for the development of avionics systems and
