International Relations Office
International Relations Office of Business and Technology University aims to present the university at the international educational area and to strengthen its role as the successful technological higher education institution in the region. IRO develops and executes the university's comprehensive internationalization plan, which is ensured with the participation of academic and administrative staff and students in international exchange programs, with the partnership of international universities and institutions, conducting joint international research and merging with international networks.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitation of internationalization process of Business and Technology University;
- Development of internationalization strategy document of the university;
- Establishing close links with the Embassies and international organizations accredited in the country;
- Determining strategically important partner countries;
- Finding partner universities from strategic countries;
- Concluding bilateral cooperation agreements;
- Concluding bilateral agreements with strategic partner universities within double degree diploma projects;
- Coordinating Erasmus+ CBHE projects at the institutional level;
- Identifying partner universities within the framework of the Erasmus + International Credit-Mobility (KA107) Program financed by European Commission;
- Preparing scholarship applications for the Erasmus + International Credit-Mobility (KA107) Program financed by European Commission;
- Coordinating scholarship contests within the framework of the Erasmus + International Credit-Mobility (KA107) Program financed by the European Commission;
- Collecting and distributing information about different international educational and scientific programs and scholarships;
- Supporting mobility of BTU students and academic/administrative staff within the framework of bilateral cooperation agreements;
- Serving, recommending and consulting BTU students and academic/administrative staff about short-term mobility abroad;
- Consulting foreign students and academic/administrative staff about short and long-term mobility opportunities at BTU.
